Nearby Kaprije there is Kornati National Park, one of the most indented island groups in the Mediterranean, with 150 islands, smaller islands and cliffs, whose coast line is about 238 km long. This paradise offers you variety of floral and animal species and possibility for many other activities to enjoy, including plenty of sun, true beauty and wide gastronomic range of local ´konobas´(taverns) and restaurants.

City of Šibenik is located between two national parks, thanks to the second one, Krka National Park, it has become the first city with street-light in the world. Krka National Park consists of area around river Krka flowing through deep and vivid canyon 75 km long, creating noisy waterfalls: Bilušića buk, Miljacka, Brljan, Rošnjak, Manojlovački waterfall, Roški waterfall and famous Skradinski buk (Krka waterfall – 46 m), which is the largest calcareous sinter barrier in Europe. Two cultural-historical monuments are specially emphasized: franciscan monastery on the island Visovac and Krka abbey.
