Kaprije 27
This stone two storey 19th century house, only 450 meters away from the sea, is one of the first houses built on island of Kaprije. In 2010 interieur has been completely renovated, also infield with stone table for dinning, maybe fish grilled on the barbecue in front of the house best. Since locals (neighbours) are seamen and fishermen, you can buy fish and sea food, but also get advice how to prepare it. Whole old street (kala) where house is situated, is the witness of the way how people of Kaprije have been protecting themselves from Turks and adjusted their way of building.

In the ground floor there is the kitchen with a sofa and pantry. Newly equipped kitchen has all important elements and technology necessary to cook (electrical cooking board and fridge), and everything food preparation requires can be found in the pantry and monoblock.

They are both a trusty picture of times when our fathers had lived. All furniture in this timeless room is tuned in style and tells its own story, so the curtains have arrived from Lybia, mirror from barrroque, and all this details simultaneously fill our soul and need for beauty. Second floor view reaches all the way to islands on the very door of nearby Kornati National Park and falls to lagoons with fields bounded by long stonewalls, built by hardworking hands, as a witness of timeless dalmatian grace.
